On Wednesday, May 25, 2011 the daily English Mass will be celebrated at 9 AM. There will be NO 7 PM Mass.
Please make note that the 9 AM English Mass on Sunday, May 8th, 2011 is canceled. The reason for this is that the Forzani’s Mothers Day Run and Walk has been assigned a new route which begins and ends at Chinook Center. The change to the route means that access to and from St. Anthony’s Church is unavailable completely between 8:30 and 10 AM. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and will look into the event planning for next year.
Federal Elections will be held on May 2, 2011, and Canadian Catholics will be called upon to exercise their right to vote. The Church encourages all Catholics to vote and believes in "political freedom and responsibility of citizens." The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has released a 2011 Federal Election Guide entitled Making Our Voices Heard that outlines Catholic moral and social teachings, which will help Catholics in their discernment process before election time. Please go to www.chac.ca for more information.
